Quick start

A concise introduction to navigating a self-hosted Rhinobase Next workspace.

First session in Rhinobase Next

This tutorial is intended for an authorized user of a locally installed instance. It is not a public demo. Use synthetic data while evaluating the installation.

1. Sign in to your own instance

Open the address supplied by your institution's administrator. Do not enter clinical information on an unrelated public website or unverified demonstration server.

2. Find or create a patient

Use Patient Search to look up a medical record number, first name or last name. Use New Record for a new record if your role permits it.

3. Complete a clinical visit

Open the patient's Clinical History and Examination modules. The interface organizes documentation by visit and offers save/print functions.

4. Plan and document treatment

Open Operative Planning and, when appropriate, the Rhinoplasty or Septoplasty sections. Review dates and patient identity before saving.

5. Add images and follow-up

In Photographs, create a new collection and classify it as preoperative, peroperative or postoperative. Use Follow-up for subsequent encounters. Use only properly authorized images.
