One update page
Update-enabled builds provide an Updates page with the installed version, latest verified release, release notes, last check and update status. Only a site administrator can install a server update.
Notifications at sign-in
When a newer signed release is found, the administrator can choose Install update, Remind me later or Skip this version. Skipping applies to that release; a later release may be announced again. Manual checking remains available.
Online or offline
Online servers check the official release feed over HTTPS. A failed check shows an explicit connection status and does not interrupt clinical use. On an offline LAN, the administrator can transfer the same signed update file to the server and select it on the Updates page.
Installation and recovery
The updater verifies the publisher signature and package checksum, enters maintenance mode, stops the app, makes a database backup and applies the release. Runtime configuration, uploaded media, database storage and the transcription model are kept outside replaceable code. Failed health checks restore the previous code and database snapshot; update progress and errors are reported.
Initial enablement · v6.4 candidate
The v6.3 ISO predates in-app update support. Existing installations need a one-time administrator bootstrap from the update-enabled release before these controls are available. Download the full v6.4 update-support package. The first bootstrap and recovery must be tested on your local VM before applying to a clinical server. Application updates are separate from Ubuntu or Docker upgrades. This first updater accepts releases with the same Node dependency bundle; a dependency or update-agent change requires an appliance maintenance package.
Copy the complete ZIP to the local test server, extract it, then run:
