Clinical workflow manual
Rhinobase Next is a clinical documentation tool. It does not replace professional judgement, clinical validation, or approved medical records and consent procedures.
Patient search and record
The Patient Search screen supports lookup by medical record number, surname and given name. Once a patient is selected, the record view brings together demographics, contact details and the clinical modules.
Clinical History
Visit-based documentation allows multiple encounters. Choose the correct visit, enter available history, save changes and use the reporting controls as needed.
Examination
Use the dedicated examination module for visit-specific findings. Confirm the current visit and patient identity before writing or printing.
Facial photographic analysis
Frontal, basal and lateral views provide controls for loading images, adjusting zoom, recording distances/angles and generating documentation. Calibrated pictures are recommended when measurements must reflect real units.
Operative Planning
Document proposed approaches and operative decisions in the planning module. Plans are distinct from operative notes and should be reviewed prior to intervention.
Rhinoplasty and Septoplasty
Procedure-specific screens support operative details and reports. Use the date navigation to ensure that observations attach to the intended operation.
Follow-up
Record ongoing clinical observations on subsequent visits, using the encounter navigation to distinguish different follow-up dates.
Photographs and videos
Create dated photo collections, specify their type and use standard viewing layouts. The visible interface indicates a limit of up to 50 images per collection and local conversion of DICOM images to WebP. Actual import behavior should be validated with the release you deploy.
Appointments
Switch between weekly and monthly views. Patient appointments can be managed using the configured working hours and intervals. Clinic-specific scheduling permissions are assigned by your administrator.
Query builder
Select fields, apply criteria and sorting, save or import queries and export results in supported text formats. Treat exports as patient data whenever identification or re-identification is possible.
Privacy: Do not use real patient data for testing; remove identifiers from teaching material, screenshots and training exports according to applicable law.
